Christian Barcodes is about helping people get their music out there. There are a lot of great musicians out there. So do it yourself! There are two things you cannot do without; a legal barcode, and a record label. (If you want to sell music in a retail outlet.) 
  Legally, you don't NEED a barcode to sell your music on the Internet.  We just want to help those who want one from a Christian company. And we use them for ourselves and associates.

One thing we don't want is to control your music. If you sign up with Christian Barcodes, you are legally part of our group.We wan't to help you, not steal your music. 

It's up to you. When you have a barcode and a label, you can sell your CD's for whatever you want and we never take a penny from your profits. Without a barcode, it's hard to get your CD into a Christian retail outlet. You can market your CD a lot easier.

Very simple rules. In order to be considered a "Christian" I believe that you must agree that Jesus Christ is Lord of all, is God, and rose from the dead. Whether you really are a Born Again follower of Jesus Christ is between you and God and not for us to judge. Your album need not be a "Super spiritual Christianized" album as long as the artist is a Christian. Christian Barcodes is for "Christian Music", as much as it is for "Christian Artists". However, we do have a form that states that there are no offensive or abusive lyrics. I suspect there will be a few artists who may successfully slide some things by me, which may be unfortunate. If you have an album with anti-Christian or vulgar lyrics, please pursue another record company!

When you place your order and join up, we send you your barcode in an email and you can start using it right away in your designs. There is no extra charge for the file we send you.
 
 
 

A second barcode for the same artist is only $30.00.

If you want to add a new artist name, even if you are the same buyer, will cost you an additional $50.00.

We send the data to the proper groups like Soundscan and register your product. Soundscan maintains the barcode lists for the music industry.

Many companies charge you much more for similar services. The difference is that they sometimes make it sound as if they are not adding their own company name to your barcode. That's not exactly legitimate.

In order to make this on the up-and-up, you need to have a record company, not something ambiguous like "Johnson's Products" at the front of that barcode. Because if the governing bodies find out that some company is selling unrelated items they might not like that. If fact, they told us so. So with a special arrangement with CCM Records, you can get a barcode to use.

You can pay via Paypal, Visa, Amex, Mastercard, Discover and eCheck. Money orders and personal checks are also accepted. We also accept checks from businesses and churches. For those, the check needs to clear the bank before the barcode is processed. But we must be able to verify the check is legit, and we will call the bank. The credit cards are processed through Paypal Credit Card Services but you don't have to have a Paypal account to use it. We simply email you an invoice and you click on a link and follow the prompts to send the payment. We prefer checks or money orders.
